Modelling tree height-diameter relationship of Quercus acutissima in a coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest in Mount Tai, China

Abstract The aim of this study was to establish the relationships between height and diameter (DBH) Quercus acutissima in a broadleaved-conifer mixed forests Mountain Tai China. Based on data Q. from 0.6 hm2 permanent forest plot, DBH were simulated with six empirical models, including Linear, Power, Chapman-Richards, Logistic, Korf Weibull select optimization model. There is no significant difference predictive power each growth fitting test results model show that these forms have good prediction effects. showed logistic effect best for . Logistic can be applied simulation tree coniferous broad-leaved area.
